New Door has the transformational power of equipping disconnected youth with skills, paid jobs, educational support, and the long-term guidance they need to succeed. Six months after graduation from our employment program, 90% of our youth are either working or in school or both.

By donating to New Door’s Unlock Opportunity Campaign this spring, you can make a lifelong impact on a young person’s life, putting them on a path to economic opportunity and self-sufficiency.

While the Bay Area provides tremendous opportunity, there are also very real challenges to life here including high rents and cost of living. These factors make it extremely difficult for the 80,000 Bay Area youth disconnected from work and school – especially those who have faced difficulties early in life, like Josh whose story is shared here.

With your gift this year, New Door will serve 400 youth in San Francisco and the East Bay. We will also expand our education program and launch at least one more program site in the East Bay.

Help us meet our spring goal of raising $200,000 in individual gifts to New Door. Contributions to the Unlock Opportunity campaign will directly fund paid internships, skills training and personal support that vulnerable young people need to rise above barriers like poverty, homelessness, history with the justice system and trauma.
