National Dementia Association is a volunteer run organization dedicated to providing support to families, care givers, and persons diagnosed with some form of dementia (Alzheimer’s disease, Lewy Body, Frontal Temporal Lobe disease, etc.) through education and training. We believe each and every person and caregiver deserves access to quality education so that they can better meet the needs of the person for whom they care.
National Dementia Association promotes training and education that allows care givers to provide the best possible, person-centered care for cognitively impaired persons. We value and are committed to establishing a strong foundation for lifelong education. We believe that training the caregivers in proven methods of care, the person for whom they are caring will lead a more content, productive, and more pleasant life.
At National Dementia Association, we appreciate the donations made by our supporters and seek to maximize the value of the funds entrusted to us. We actively seek to minimize overhead so that as much money as possible is used to directly provide training for caregivers and families in our programs and to provide tangible benefits for those we serve.
The National Dementia Association is a 501(c)(3) organization.
