NCJW/Greater Detroit is part of a national organization that has a network of 90,000 members and supporters nationwide. Locally, for over 125 years, NCJW/Greater Detroit volunteers have developed and implemented community service projects, maintained a progressive stance on issues at the local, state and federal levels and offered public affairs/education and social programs for the community at large. Volunteers find a need in the community and develop services to address the issue or advocate on behalf of the women, children and families in need. NCJW/Greater Detroit works cooperatively with many other organizations in order to address the needs of our Greater Metropolitan Detroit community members.
Funds received through the GIVE challenge will benefit children in need supporting our Back 2 School Store, Backpack Project, Teen Yellow Pages, Wrapped In Love blankets, Children Advocates, and Literacy Programs. Help us help children!
