EVENT DATE: Nov 12, 2017
It's time to BE the change! Join The Eating Disorders Information Network (EDIN) to shatter the silence, smash the stereotypes, and stop the suffering of those who struggle with eating disorders.
Merrick’s Walk for EDIN is a 2.7 mile walk around Chastain Park with a threefold purpose:
• To raise awareness of eating disorders.
• To remember those who have lost their battle with an eating disorder.
• To raise funds for the Eating Disorders Information Network (EDIN) and support our work to raise awareness, prevent eating disorders, and promote healthy body image and self-worth in children, adolescents, and adults in the Atlanta community.
Merrick's Walk began in 2001 in honor of Merrick Ryan, a 19-year-old Galloway alumna who lost her life to anorexia. Many who live with an eating disorder suffer in silence. It is time to stand with one another in this fight.
Please join EDIN's mission in preventing eating disorders, increasing awareness, and promoting self-worth. The event begins Sunday, November 12 at 1 pm!
