The MOMS Club of Montgomery Village is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide supportive environments to stay-at-home, work-from-home, and part-time working moms in our area. At the MOMS Club we not only create valuable opportunities to build friendships between both children and mothers; but also, offer educational activities, MOMS Night Out/In events and support for our local community through volunteering and fundraising.
Our chapter is part of the International MOMS Club®, which began in 1983 when an at-home mother in California decided she was tired of being alone at home. There are now over 1,800 chapters with more than 85,000 members across the United States and internationally.
- Women must be free to choose their personal path to fulfillment.
- For women who choose it, raising children is an important and fulfilling full-time job.
- A family's decision for a mother to stay at home to raise the children often involves considerable financial sacrifice.
- There is no one right way to raise children but our members have common concerns in raising their children in a helpful way.
