BENEFITING: FINAL SALUTE
I truly from the bottom of my heart believe that there is more to life than the things we smell, see, hear and touch. There are small brief moments in time where nothing tangible even matters....I feel those moments every time I am able to improve someone else' situation. In our own way we are all beautifully made and we all deserve a "win" sometimes. Sometimes life throws us curve balls that we never hoped for, dreamed of or expected - it is not my job to determine whether someone is worthy of assistance, it is simply my discretionary responsibility to give back to the community. The female-veteran community is just one small step and just one small population, but taking the first step is the only way to join the race. Yes, $25 a day puts a roof over a female-veteran's head but it is so much more than that. It is a symbol of unity within the veteran community, it is a sense of compassion for all homo sapiens, it is the unspoken words of affirmation that make your donation so powerful. Aside from serving as protectors of this great nation, these women are someone's mother, daughter, sister, aunt and at one point, someone's battle buddy - never leave a fallen comrade.
