I'm hoping to raise money for my newest children's story, "Mrs. Libra and Zoey Zebra: A Small Part of Nature's Designs." The story is about Zoey, a young zebra, who wants to change the stripes on her face; she believes she can rub them away and when this doesn't work, she decides, since she can't find any stripes in the zoo, to go out into the world to find more stripes to add to her already striped face. This story relates strongly to ANTI-BULLYING - who we are and not what we look like! It is said that people form an opinion within 30 seconds of meeting someone! The monies donated will be used for artist's fees, printing, distribution and promotion.

I believe children, worldwide, need to know that there's more to a person than meets the eye; I've read the text to various elementary grades and teachers and the feedback has been: "When is this going to be available in book form?" This story is not only meant to be EDUCATIONAL, but entertaining as well.

I have written two other children's stories: "The HOLE Story" and "MIRANDA THE PANDA," using my pen name: Ruthie Darling and you can find "The HOLE Story" on my web site: Miranda will be added in the near future, but in the meantime, these books can be found on my FaceBook page.
