It's not too late to donate.... yet! The Challenge ends on 11/6/17

Be Powerful! Give Warmth! Your donation dollar is powerful and makes a big impact when you give warmth through MIttens for Detroit.
Our goal for this campaign is to raise $6,000 to purchase 1,000 pairs of teen and adult gloves. Your generosity makes a significant difference in the daily lives of children and adult in Detroit, Michigan, by warming hands and hearts. Working with our product partner Michigan's Broner Hat & Glove, we are able to leverage your gift to go much farther than your purchasing dollar can. A donation of at least $30 will warm the hands of 5 teenage, young, and adult women and men in Detroit this winter with new warm gloves - gloves that would retail for $20 and more. YOU can make a difference.
We are a small nonprofit, with a huge impact - 200,000 pairs collected and distributed in the first 7 years of operation. How does Mittens for Detroit work? We collect, purchase and distribute new mittens and gloves to children and adults in need in Detroit and other underserved communities, from 10/1-1/31 every year. Pairs are donated in public and private collections, and distributed with the help of nearly 100 partner charities, organizations, agencies, and schools, who distribute the thousands of pairs donated each year. This season's goal is 55,000 pairs. Our partners include Alternative for Girls, The Children’s Center of Wayne County, COTS, Covenant House of Michigan, Capuchin Soup Kitchen, the Michigan Veterans Foundation, and Detroit, Hamtrack, and Highland Park schools.
Mittens for Detroit is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Donations are tax-deductible. Please visit our website for more information - www.MittensForDetroit.org. Thank you for your generosity!
