THE STORY:
The Millinocket Marathon & Half was created solely to help out a struggling mill town. We believe the Millinocket Memorial Library deserves our support. The following excerpt from a WCSH6 Maine news report summarizes the dire need to pitch in....... "The budget they took up late Thursday afternoon included more than $200,000 in cuts. The largest share of the proposed cuts, about $80,000 was the entire yearly budget for the public library. That money pays the staff and keeps the lights on for 15 hours each week."
All funds raised go directly to the Friends of the Millinocket Memorial Library to help keep their doors open.
