Founded in March of 2010, Military Children’s Charity, Inc. exists to enrich the lives of American Service member’s children. Given the reality of multiple military engagements, and several years of economic uncertainty, M.C.C. recognizes that a disproportionate share of this burden has fallen on the shoulders of American Service Member’s families.
American Military Children deserve to be appreciated and publicly recognized for their countless personal sacrifices on behalf of our nation too. For these reasons, M.C.C. endeavors to provide gifts directly to these children via the American public’s individual contributions, donations and grants.
To date, M.C.C.'s all-volunteer board of directors has distributed over 130,000 gifts of appreciation to military families across all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, including new toys at the holiday, new books, Easter baskets, backpacks filled with school supplies, new children's clothing, and baby shower items. Further, M.C.C. has served dozens of children, who have lost a parent in service to our nation, year-round through the Richard K. Johnston Bereavement Program.
