Fatherlessness impacts every socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic group in our nation. With the greatest need felt in our inner cities.
Statistics show that 9 out of 10 inner-city youth will go to bed without a Dad in their homes. Crime, violence, drug abuse, gangs, car-jacking and suicide are just the tipping point from this growing epidemic.
The tragedy that took place in Sanford on February 26, 2012, was the unveiling of local and national deep wounds.
It revealed generational unrest within communities across our nation. Sanford and now Ferguson are two examples of the urgent need of fatherless youth in our urban communities.
Call to action:
The Mayor of Sanford, Jeff Triplett and NASCAR Driver Jason Rosarius have joined our team to promote this cause throughout our nation.
We are calling men and women of God to rise up and stand in the gap to be mentors. Together we can reclaim this generation of youth in our urban communities for the Glory of God.
