Presented by Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa and The Butterfly Effect, Maui Paddle for a Cure is a non-competitive, fun paddle to raise funds for Susan G. Komen Hawaii Affiliate, supporting their efforts in aiding prevention, screening and treatment of breast cancer in Hawaii.

WHAT YOUR PARTICIPATION MEANS
You are helping to achieve a world without breast cancer. Your donations will support the Susan G. Komen Hawaii’s mission to provide local community grants, helping people in our community access education, screening and treatment. Your funds also support life-saving research initiatives that will enable scientists to discover the cures for breast cancer. Together, we will end breast cancer forever.
Choose between 3 different courses:
- Beginner – SUP clinic and guided 0.5 mile paddle. SUP Clinic will be hosted by professional water athletes, along with founder and creator of The Butterfly Effect, Tatiana Howard. The clinic will go over the basics of paddling and concluded with an optional guided half mile paddle. Clinic limited to 20 participants.
- Intermediate – 2 mile paddle to Black Rock and back.
- Advanced – 4 mile paddle to Westin KOR and back for experienced paddlers and canoe paddlers.

7:00 a.m.-8:30 a.m. – Check-In & Late Registration at Hanakao'o Park (Canoe Beach next to Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa)
7:45 a.m.-8:15 a.m. – Yoga
8:15 a.m.-8:30 a.m. – Blessing & Safety Meeting
8:30 a.m.-10:00 a.m. – Paddle
9:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. – After Party with Anuhea at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa

Continue the fun with an After Party at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa at Sunset Terrace (the grounds of Drums of the Pacific Lu`au). Enjoy food and drink, silent auction, vendor expo and live music, including an exclusive performance by Anuhea!
Individual = $65; Individual + SUP Rental = $85
Registration will increase $10 on October 1, 2017.
Registration will close on October 6, 2017 at 12:00pm HST. No on-site registration will be available. After Party Only tickets will be for sale at the door.
Your registration is 100% donated to Susan G. Komen Hawaii and includes:
- Participation in the paddle
- A pink event rash guard
- A goodie bag filled with treats, gifts and offers from our sponsors
- Morning refreshments on the beach
- Admission to the After Party with live music from Anuhea
- (1) food and (1) beverage ticket to be used at the After Party

Hanakao'o Beach Park (Canoe Beach) is located at the South end of Ka’anapali, next to Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa.
Please utilize the Hanakao'o Beach Park provided parking lot. Overflow parking is invited to park at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa (fee applies).
WHAT TO BRING
Please bring swim attire, sunscreen, and your own SUP board, canoe or kayak if you did not register for a rental board. All participants MUST wear a leash during the paddle and it is highly recommended to wear or have a personal floatation device on water craft. Light refreshments and water will be provided at Hanakao’o Beach. Food and beverage will also be provided at the After Party at Sunset Terrace, Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa.

100% of registration and donations goes to support Susan G. Komen Hawaii in their efforts for breast cancer education, awareness, prevention and treatment programs for women and men in the Hawaiian Islands. Our goal is to raise $50,000 in 2016! Your paddle registration is your donation to Susan G. Komen Hawaii, and includes a pink rash guard, goodie bag, food, beverage, special room rates at Hyatt Regency Maui, and admission to the after party with concert by Anuhea!
Registration will go up September 25th. Registration will CLOSE on September 30th at 12:00pm HST. On-site registration will NOT be available. After Party Tickets (admission only) will not increase and will be for sale at the door.
