At Shultz's Guest House, our mission is to find loving families for homeless dogs. We are working to decrease the number of dogs in shelters by rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding forever homes for dogs in high-kill shelters.

We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed, permanent homes following a comprehensive adoption process that includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives.

Animals in our care are spayed or neutered and receive veterinary care and treatment and socialization while they wait for their forever homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed, or ease of placement. To the extent our finances allow, dogs who require the greatest attention take priority.

Over 1,000 dogs have found their forever homes by way of Shultz's, and it takes a lot of money to do this work. We are so fortunate to have marathon bibs and to raise funds to continue the work we are doing. All money raised will go directly towards the care of the dogs, including transporting, vetting, feeding, and keeping them safe and happy until they are adopted.
