RAISE THE ICE RINK ROOF!
Our ice rink is heading west—to Mammoth Creek Park. Let’s ensure that the new rink will represent the needs and spirit of Mammoth Lakes!
First, I want to thank everyone who generously gave to the original campaign. Your hard work and positivity continues to make a difference in our community.
It is projects like the proposed plans for Mammoth Creek Park, which require the strength and support of our community in order to build something great for future generations.
With your teammates, friends and family, you not only raised funds, but got the community talking and taking interest in your fast growing hockey community.
An ice rink needs a roof.
Without a roof, the ice melts, fallen snow is harder to clear, and programming is interrupted.
A permanent roof on the new rink will deliver a more reliable and better quality skating surface and extend the ice skating season. It will be a venue for summer sporting events, festivals, and arts & culture activities.
Several changes have been made since the original campaign, but the mission is the same: Our kids need a place to recreate and grow, and our community needs a place to come together. We need to raise the roof on a complex that reflects our love for where we live and our dedication to get something done.
Whether you donate funds or join the town in the programming workshops, your support is appreciated. Thank you.
