Malicats USA- registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit Organization. EID# 81-4241776  organized for the purpose of promoting youth basketball and digital creativity as a vehicle to educate, empower, and elevate underprivileged youth of  around world (Africa) for a sustainable and peaceful future.

We have been influenced youth for over 8 years, from Arizona to Africa, (Free youth Basketball camps, clinic, tournament, mentorship, used clothes and shoe drives, school supplies, appeal uniform, basketball equipment


Malicats Founder 

Mo Tangara is former University of Arizona men’s basketbal player 2004-08, pro athlete (FIBA Africa, NBADLEAGUE). former  Captain of Mali's National Basketball Team who grew up in poverty in africa until he was discovered playing shoeless basketball at young age to join Country U16 National Basketball team . Basketball and education gave Tangara the means to come to the United States, complete high school, graduate from the University of Arizona with bachelor degree in Famility Studies Humain Developement. Tangara  maintain a successful professional basketball career, become a US citizen in 2014. 

With your help, Mo Tangara and Malicats organization  will provide better schools, outdoot basketball courts, clothing, sporting goods, school supplies to youth in Africa and exhibit positive images of United States of America around Africa


WHAT WE DO

I-AFRICA YOUTH BASKETBALL & LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS

*Free youth basketball Camp, League,  tournament and athletic tuition (underprivilage youth ages 7-18 years old)

*Build youth sports recreational facility (outdoor basketball courts) in  poorest town and  villages of Africa

* Provide underprivilage youth new and used basketball and sports equipments(Basketball, hoop, toys, soccer ball, volleyballs, Used sporting shoes all sizes, Used clothing ages 7-18 and adults

*Athletic scholarship opportunities to the best student athletes (basketball)


II-AFRICA YOUTH ACADEMIC SUPPORT PROGRAMS

*Build schools in  poorest town and  villages of Africa

*Supports schools in poorest area wih used or new schools supplies (Used book bags, funding) 

*After school program to support uderprivilage students

WHY YOUR  DONATION MATTERS

 Since 2012,  the youth of Mali right to pursue academic and childhood development has been taken away due to poverty, ethnic conflict, and armed Islamic extremist group attacks everyday around north and central of Mali . Mali’s youth future is threatened they need better school to studies, school supplies, encouragement to fight negative influences for better future. Mali's youth needs your helps to have better classroom experience and education.

*4.3 million people in Mali need Humanitarian Assistance
*500,000 people have been displaced in conflict of Mali 

*142,109 refugees

*1000 schools closed  

*2 millions students are effecting
