Malibu Half Marathon & 5K

The Malibu Half Marathon & 5K returns in 2016 with a spectacular out-and-back course in a locale famous for its 27 miles of scenic beauty, laidback surfer vibe, and celebrity homes. Framed by the sandy beaches and crashing waves of the Pacific Ocean on one side, and the rocky bluffs and golden Santa Monica Mountains on the other, the race is a rare opportunity to run along the storied Pacific Coast Highway while protected from cars and traffic.
Because of their commitment of the staff and volunteers as well as the importance of their grassroots efforts the Malibu Half Marathon decided to make the Boys & Girls Clubs of Malibu and the Athletic Booster Club of Malibu High School the race beneficieries.
While the Boys & Girls Clubs of Malibu create a fun, creative, and safe environment where kids and teens can come to hang out, learn new skills and meet new friends; the Athletic Booster Club supports the 23 different sports teams with providing them with uniforms, support with scheduling, field maintenance, transportation, awards, and equipment.
They are the heart of the Malibu community.
