The situation in Syria is getting very critical. The war has been going on since 5 years and 9 month. The dark side is that not too many people recognize the ones in the bottom who are now in a desperate need for help. Every day more and more people are losing houses, loved ones, arm or leg, ... name it! The problem is too big and there are many conflicts of interests over Syria between governments, groups, tribes, international institutions, and even religions. It is a big mess! However, the children and youth are the most tragic victims. Hundreds of thousands of Syrian youth are university qualified, but because of the war, they have not been able to continue their education. Children who are out of school are over a million between refugees camps, Turkey, Jordan, and Lebanon. The problem is too big for us to contain but many humanitarian and development organizations are trying their best. Jusoor is one of the most active organizations in educating youth since 2011. They have helped 391 university-aged students finish their degrees and 2,500 children enroll in primary education. Your dollar can make a difference in someone's life. Help Jusoor to give the Syrian youth and children another choice, to build a tomorrow that says "Yes" for education and "No" for Violence, and war. With a $1,000 donation, you could pay the salary of one teacher in Lebanon for two months. Our teachers, who are refugees themselves, teach 40 students each. For a donation of $650, you could provide a child with the gift of basic literacy, thereby changing the life of that child forever. And for just $40 you could help one child get to school everyday for two months, thereby eliminating one of the main barriers of access to education for children in Lebanon. If you can't make a donation, please help us spread the word and share this with your friends. On behalf of these young Syrians whose lives you are changing, thank you!
