Please help support Loyola Academy Rowing in our first ever Ergathon, our biggest fundraiser ever. On March 14, 2020, teams of Loyola rowers will compete against each other on rowing machines (known as "Ergs") to raise money for the club. Your donation will be used to maintain and purchase racing boats, oars, boat trailers, and, of course, more Ergs. Donations will also be used to award scholarships so that every Loyola Academy student has the opportunity to row.
The Loyola Academy Rowing Association has been fostering the growth of student-athletes for 30 years. Although we have won two National Championships and many Midwest Scholastic medals, our true goal is to help create "Women and Men for Others", in the Jesuit tradition. The LA Crew Team is a completely student-supported organization. We receive no outside funding. So we could use your help. Rowing, the oldest intercollegiate sport in America, is also one of the most expensive.
Your donation is 100% tax deductible. Donations can also be made after the date of the Ergathon, until May 1st, 2016.
Thank you for your support.
"Harmony, balance, and rhythm. They're the three things that stay with you your whole life. Without them, civilization is out of whack. And that's why an oarsman, when he goes out in life, he can fight it, he can handle life. That's what he gets from rowing." --George Yeoman Pocock
