BENEFITING: SOUTH SUBURBAN HUMANE SOCIETY
Phoenix was found in a milk crate. He was all skin and bones, but South Suburban Humane Society (SSHS) decided he was worth saving. SSHS and Forest South Animal Hospital saved this little dog, and gave him a chance to have a better life. The journey to getting stronger was not easy for the little guy, and the surgery was harsh on him, causing his heart to stop twice. From skin and bones to being a giant cuddle bug, our life would never be the same without Phoenix. From being forgotten about and nobody's dog, he became everyone's dog.
