Love for Lee
Organized by: Donna Peske
Lee Morgan is a awesome friend who has been battling colon cancer since last year. After a rough year of chemo, Lee thought he was on the road to recovery. However, just recently Lee discovered that that ugly thing we call cancer is back with a new vengence. Lee is now preparing himself for a lengthy battle which includes a major surgery (over 12 hrs), more chemo and a number of radical new procedures at a facility in Illinois. This means leaving family in Nevada and Arizona for the next 1 - 2 months. I would like to raise funds to allow his two children to take turns traveling to Illinois to be with their Mom, Darlene, and Dad as he goes through this challenging time.
Lee and his family have been our "family" for almost 30 years. My daughter, (and a whole lot more kids) really think of him as Uncle Lee and his awesome wife as Aunt Dar. Lee and Darlene have been married over 35 years, have two great kids and four grandchildren. Lee has worked in the mining industry his entire life. They have worked hard and their family does too. They hunt, fish, and garden. They are just really good people!
If someone has ever done something good for you and you want to pass that on, please consider helping out with this cause! I've had more than my fair share of blessings in my life...some of the biggest are my friends!
I know this family well, and I am sure that they would be more than happy to 'give forward' any proceeds that they don't use, to another deserving family!
Thank you for your consideration!
