2017 LMFD Memorial Stair Climb
June 01, 2017
For the 7th year in a row, members of the Lockheed Martin Fire Department are honored to take part in the Dallas 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. Each member of our team will represent one of the heroes who perished on the fateful day in 2001. In all, 343 firefighters, 70 police officers and 9 EMS personnel gave their lives helping others. We will climb the height of the World Trade Center towers, 110 flights, in full gear, each representing and carrying the name plate of a fallen hero, in honor of those brave responders. Our efforts are not only a memorial, but also a fundraiser. In keeping with tradition, we have again chose to raise money for the Texas Line-of-Duty-Death Task Force, an amazing organization that helps families and departments of fallen firefighters here in Texas in countless ways. Please support us with your generosity and know that you are invited to come be a part of an awesome event on Saturday, September 9th at Renaissance Tower in downtown Dallas. Please feel free to share the post and the link!
