NCRL has been teaching baseball fundamentals and life skills to youth 4-12 years old for 40 years. Our mission is developing a strong community by teaching baseball fundamentals and life skills: helping kids improve as players, work as a team and improve as individuals. Each year we serve 600+ players across our Fall and Spring Seasons.
In an effort to better serve our growing league and the Charlottesville/Ablemarle County community, NCRL has launched a capital campaign to raise $150,000 to improve the fields and facilities used by NCRL. The cornerstone of the project will be adding lights to our premiere field (Carson Raymond Field). The addition of lights will provide us with an additional 450 playing hours each year. Additionally, NCRL will be better equipped to host regional and state tournaments.
Each Spring our players participate in a fundraising effort to support the league. This year players will be participating in a battling cage marathon during our "Day of Champions" on Sunday, June 5th. Their goal is to contribute $25,000 towards the campaign. Our target is to have the lights installed and operational for our Fall 2016 Season.
Thank you for supporting current and future generations of NCRL players.
