BENEFITING: LETS CURE CP INC
EVENT DATE: Mar 25, 2014
Lilly has cerebral palsy and on March 25th, 2014, in honor of Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day, she is "Standing for a Cure". She will be using her gait trainer and taking 100 steps.
Will you pledge money for each step she takes or consider a small donation? All proceeds benefit Cure CP.
Cure CP recently helped organized and fundraise for a groundbreaking stem cell clinical trial for cerebral palsy. The money raised from the 1st annual "Stand for a Cure" event will go towards launching another groundbreaking study investigating the potential of new treatments for cerebral palsy and led by an internationally renowned physcian and researcher.
"The charitable nonprofit Let’s Cure CP (CureCP.org) is the only parent led advocacy group for Cerebral Palsy families whose sole purpose is to raise funds for research. CureCP.org is an honored collaborator and very proud to announce that the first-of-its-kind clinical trial studying two forms of stem cell treatments for children with cerebral palsy (CP) has begun at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School."
