BENEFITING: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
In the year of 2015, 54,270 people are expected to be diagnosed with cancer. One of those was people to be diagnosed was my cousin Elliott. He always had a positive mindset about being diagnosed with cancer and never let anybody see him down. He always had a way of making people feel good and uplifted about his situation by making you laugh and being his normal self. Elliot passed away in August of this year but his legacy lives on through me and many other people. He impacted too many lives to count and will truly be missed. Even though Leukemia & Lymphoma month was in September, I still feel like a difference can be made in helping find more research for this deadly cancer. Since Elliott's birthday is on December 26th I was hoping to see, with the help of everyone, if we can try to raise to raise between $500-$1000 by his birthday. Anything helps and I hope we can meet this goal as a team!
