The Problem

Our community has been mild nurtured. Currently, we lack the necessary resources and knowledge to be well equip to be successful.

Our Solution

We will provide a platform for individuals needing assistance whether it be educational, economical, or socially. Our long term goal is to become the primary source for resources and relief for our immediate surrounding communities. We will do this by producing and providing assessable resources for the needy through our organized seminars and camps as well as the donations we receive from our campaign efforts.

Leadership Enhancement

We will develop young leaders through influential camps and programs, providing them with a solid foundation and an ability to learn from established professionals from various fields. This initiative will include; panel discussions, day camps, and personal development seminars that will serve as a tool to teach the importance of self-understanding, self-confidence, and self-purpose.

Our camps will be focused on informing youth and at-risk of the tools we believe they need to have a better chance at being successful while also giving them the ability to have fun and excel at their hobbies, whether it be music, sports, etc.

Fact: According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, one in three black men can expect to go to prison in their lifetime.

Economic Empowerment

This initiative will give participants a better understanding of the way money works and how to make money work for them. We will demonstrate the importance of short-term and long-term savings. Some of the key elements to this program will educate participants of various types of bank accounts, the procedures to undergo when opening a bank account, and the power of group economics.  When we learn how to invest in ourselves, we can benefit not only ourselves, but the entire community.  This initiative will also be focused on teaching participants about investing in the stock market and real estate.  We will teach the participants how to create a realistic budgets to organize their finances in the future.

We plan to hold informational seminars and workshops, focused on informing youth and at-risk of the tools we believe they need to have a better chance at being successful.

Educational Advancement

We will promote the importance of educational attainment and the positive effect it can have in obtaining overall economic stability and a sense of self-purpose.  We will convey to the at-risk community that they must first become scholars and dedicate themselves to learning the workings of the world, to then begin building a foundation for long-term success.  We will provide programs such as a monthly book club, middle school empowerment days, and high school to college programs to better assist the at-risk community in building a bridge to higher educational achievements.

We will develop an education mentorship program. Those who wish to join will have the opportunity to learn from top professional as well as partake career workshops. In the program they will experience resume workshops, college touring, and education resources not currently easily accessible to our community.

Fact: Only 13 percent of African-American students and 4 percent of Hispanic students were proficient in reading, in comparison with 40 percent of white students and 41 percent of those with Asian and Pacific Island backgrounds.

Public Endowment

We will be primarily focused on giving tangible resources back to the community. We will develop programs and events that provide opportunities for the at-risk to receive aid such as food, toy, clothing, toiletries, health and child-care supply drives and giveaways.

We strive to open a "Change" store that provides the aid and resources for those who need the assistance. (toiletries, fruit, bad lunches, everyday kitchen items, supermarket.)

Fact: More than half of families in the United States earn $60,000 or less per year.
