Join us on Lutheran Medical Center’s beautiful tree-lined campus Sunday, June 5, 2016 for the Leaves of Hope Run/Walk and Cancer Survivors Celebration! With more than 1,000 survivors, patients, families, hospital associates and community members, this sanctioned race is Jefferson County’s largest National Cancer Survivors Day® celebration. Featuring live music from Chris Daniel’s and the Kings and a survivor and community brunch, this summertime celebration is filled with fun for the whole family! Our health and safety fair features a variety of non-profit organizations that focus on cancer survivorship, health and fitness. This years race will feature a special sculpture dedication of "Rooted in Hope", created by theWheat Ridge High School STEAM class as a symbol of hope and healing for Lutheran Medical Center's patients.
Kids Dash finishers are honored with ribbons. The top two male and female runners in each age group will receive medals, and the top overall male and female finishers will receive a medal and special gift from our sponsors. Proceeds from the Leaves of Hope Run/Walk support Cancer Centers of Colorado at Lutheran Medical Center at are tax deductible as allowed by law.
