BENEFITING: ARMY RANGER LEAD THE WAY FUND
ORGANIZER: ARMY RANGER LEAD THE WAY FUND
I am so excited (and nervous!!) to announce that I will be running in the 2016 TCS NYC Marathon on November 6, 2016. Having just finished the NYC Half on March 20, I didn't want to miss a beat in being apart of the main event in November. I am running in honor of the Army Ranger Lead The Way Fund. This charity was set up in honor and memory of Sgt. Jimmy Regan. Sgt Regan was killed in Iraq in February 2011 while seflessly defending this beautiful country. LTWF is truly amazing because it is focused on and dedicates itself to providing injured U.S. Army Rangers with opportunities and assitance they would not be able to get elsewhere. In addition, they work to help and provide a sense of seurity to families of those who are actively serving and those who have heroically lost their lives fighting for OUR freedom. This is truly a one of a kind charity and I am BEYOND honored to run in support and memory of all of our past, present, and disabled troops. The amount of courage and heroism our troops demonstrate every day is truly inspiring and I will forever be indebted to their selfless service. No donation is too little and ALL proceeds go to Army Ranger Lead The Way Fund. I figured running a mere 26.2 miles is nothing compared to the challenges our troops and their families face on a daily basis. Thank you SO much and GOD BLESS AMERICA.
