BENEFITING: ARMY RANGER LEAD THE WAY FUND
ORGANIZER: ARMY RANGER LEAD THE WAY FUND
While I thought I would retire my sneakers after the Chicago race, I have decided to run one more Marathon, in my home state of New York on November 6th! Running this race has always been a dream of mine, and this year, I am truly honored to run it in support of the Army Ranger “Lead the Way” Fund.
Lead the Way Fund is a non-profit organization that raises funds in support of disabled U.S. Army Rangers and the families of Rangers who have died, have been injured or are currently serving in harm’s way around the world. These funds will provide spouses and children of deceased, disabled or active duty Rangers with assistance for health and wellness programs and other services determined to be vital to the family’s well-being, beyond what the government can offer.
The amount of bravery and heroism our troops demonstrate every day is truly inspiring and I will forever be grateful of their selfless service. The money that I am raising in support of this fund will not only benefit so many individuals impacted by these heroic events, but also will be the motivation and determination needed to stick to the goal of finishing the race!
