BENEFITING: ARMY RANGER LEAD THE WAY FUND
ORGANIZER: ARMY RANGER LEAD THE WAY FUND
I'm running in the TCS 2016 NYC Marathon under the umbrella of the Army Ranger Lead the Way Fund honoring the legacy of Jimmy Regan and all who have sacrificed thier life for our country.
Sgt. James (Jimmy) J. Regan was assigned to company C, 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment when he was killed by an IED which targeted his vehicle in northern Iraq in February, 2007. He left behind his loving fiancee, his parents and three sisters. Through the Lead the Way Fund, his family and friends strive to honor his spirit, his patriotism and the way he lived his life by combining efforts to give back to his brothers, the U.S. Army Rangers.
Through the years, I have watched this amazing charity grow and provide the needed financial and emotional support to so many families and friends, which many of us share stories of loss and sacrifice of loved ones on and off the battlefield. It is through your generosity that Lead the Way will continue to make a lasting impact. Please help me raise money to reach my goal!!
Army Ranger Lead The Way Fund is a 501c3 non-profit organization established to raise funds in support of disabled U.S. Army Rangers and the families of Rangers who have died, have been injured or are currently serving in harm’s way around the world. Army Ranger Lead The Way Fund will provide spouses and children of deceased, disabled or active duty Rangers with assistance for health/wellness programs and other financial services determined to be vital to the family’s well-being, beyond what the government and Veterans Affairs can offer.
