BENEFITING: ARMY RANGER LEAD THE WAY FUND
ORGANIZER: ARMY RANGER LEAD THE WAY FUND
This November I am running in the TCS 2016 NYC Marathon under the Army Ranger Lead the Way Fund honoring Sgt. James (Jimmy) J. Regan. Sgt. Regan, of Manhasset, was an All-American lacrosse player at Chaminade High School, and a standout member of the Duke Lacrosse Team. Sgt. Regan was assigned to Company C, 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, and was tragically killed in Northern Iraq on February 9th, 2007.
The Army Ranger Lead the Way Fund is a non-profit organization established to raise funds in support of disabled U.S. Army Rangers and the families of Rangers who have died, have been injured or are currently serving in the danger of combat around the world. Army Ranger Lead the Way Fund provided spouses and children of deceased, disabled or active duty Rangers with assistance for health/ wellness programs and other financial services to support the family's well-being. We often forget how the courageous sacrifices that innocent American men and women make to protect our country, so I am honored to run in recognition and support of all Army Rangers.
After watching many of my family members and close friends participate in the NYC Marathon I became inspired to run one of my own! I am hoping to raise as much money and awareness for The Army Ranger Lead the Way Fund, and run the best I can to honor this incredible foundation. I am very determined to step far out of my comfort zone and push my limits to honor all of those who have lost their lives fighting for our country, and for the spouses and children of deceased, disabled, and active duty Rangers! If you would like to make a donation to my fundraiser please click the link below! No amount is too small, and all contributions would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much for your time, generosity, and support!
