To meet the 60-by-30 state goal in Texas
(60% of Texas workforce will need a post-secondary credential by 2030), we need 558,000 more young adults with a post-secondary credential.
Communities that want to foster educational excellence and equity will need to recruit, develop, and support community stewards of the movement and build a pipeline for informed governance and advocacy.
Leadership ISD aspires to equip a diverse network of informed citizen leaders working at all levels – campus, district, community, and with elected officials – to ensure that every Texas child, regardless of race, ethnicity or zip code, receives the education necessary to provide a pathway for success.
Opportunity and Hope are what will propel Texas to lead the way in education.
