Game Day is a special time for all ages. Especially those who are in hospitals, children with cancer. They get the opprotunity from Special Spectators to go to these sporting events in there state and have the best day of their life.
Special Spectators hosts VIP all-access game day experiences for seriously ill children, giving them one day to forget all of their pain and have fun. since 2002, we've served over 8,800 patients, parents, and siblings at almost 330 games - mostly college football.
In collaboration with more than 45 of the biggest programs in the country including the four schools who competed in the latest College Football Playoff - Alabama, Clemson, Michigan State, and Oklahoma, we have created experiences that they will remember forever and that can bring them joy any time they thing about that inpiring day. we host tailgating parties visited by cheerleaders, mascots and marching bands; locker room tours; meeting coaches & players; and moving stadium announcements.
Special Spectators has no paid staff, but an unstoppable force of almost 120 deticated volunteers all accross the United States. We aspire to serve thousands of children each year, during all sports seasons.
We'd like you to join us to make sure as many children as possible experience this unique joy -- an opprotunity to forget their challenges for a day and be a part of the team, in the center of the action, front and center at the ballgame.
