Celebrate our South LA students heading back to school!

This fall, LA Promise Charter Schools will open their virtual doors to the classroom and patiently await the day we can invite students on campus again. Pens, notebooks, and binders will prepare students to succeed in both learning environments throughout the year. The LAPF Young Professionals Council requests your support to kick off the new year by giving each LAPCS student a back-to-school pack.

Who gets a back-to-school pack?

Our LA Promise Charter Schools proudly serve 100% students of color grades 6-12 in South LA. Our goal is to provide each and every LAPCS student with a back-to-school pack this Fall. This will serve as a congratulations for making it through pandemics that deeply affected our community and as a celebration to start what is sure to be an exciting new year!

Why give a back-to-school pack?

Our students and staff alike give so much of their time, talent, and treasure to make learning successful. A back-to-school pack provides essential school supplies that will simplify shopping and, more importantly, enhance education. In providing a back-to-school pack, our students and staff can focus less on materials and more on the material.

What is in a back-to-school pack?

A notebook, binder, writing utensil, highlighter, colored pencils, and hand sanitizer wrapped up in a brand new back-to-school bag!

How much is a back-to-school pack?

$25 = back-to-school packs for 2 students

$50 = back-to-school packs for 4 students

$100 = back-to-school packs for 8 students

$500 = back-to-school packs for a whole class!

$1,000 = back-to-school packs for a whole grade!
