Pre-Registration is free when you raise a minimum of $35 for the cause.  Day of Event Registration is a $50.00 flat fee and opens at 8am on October 12th.  For those that want to check-in prior to the event, if you have cash or check donations to drop off, need some extra equipment or want to get your fundraising prizes early we will be at Marty's Reliable Cycle in Randolph on October 11th from 11-1pm.


A few important things you should know...


About the event...

Come enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Hopatcong on a scenic bike ride or 3-mile walk to raise funds for NJ’s largest lake! The cycling course will go clockwise around the lake and consist of approximately 20 miles of rolling terrain. This course is not flat but, there are no significant hills that might deter those looking for an enjoyable ride. The 40 mile course includes a hilly 20 mile extension added to the middle of the 20 mile course.  The 3 mile walk will take participants down through King’s Cove and around Bertrand’s Island before heading back to the finish line at Nixon School.   'GET FIT' for the lake, when you register and create your own fundraising page, reach out to friends and family to support you on your journey.  Prizes will be awarded for fundraising accomplishments.  An adult parent or guardian must accompany each rider younger than 18.  No trikes or training wheeled bicycles allowed.  Helmets are required.  All fees and donations are non-refundable.  This event will go on rain or shine.  


Lake Loop 2014 includes organized ride, tour map of historical landmarks on route, prizes for top individual and team fundraisers, stocked rest stops, cue sheets, mechanical support, door prizes, SAG vehicle, post-ride music by Byrdgrass, food and fun! First wave leaves at 9:30am from Nixon School.

Day of Event Schedule:

Day of Event Registration ($50 flat fee) and Check-in:  8am

Dunkin Donuts coffee will be available at check-in. Mechanical support will abe available for riders.  Lake Loop welcomes TransOptions, Inc. to Lake Loop 2014.  Stop by their table, get information on bike safety and a free helmet fitting.  Fitness Innovations will be doing warm-up's for our participants after check-in.

40 Mile Cyclists Depart:   9:30am

20 Mile Cyclists Depart:  9:45 am

3 Mile Walkers Depart:  10am

Food will be served 11:15-1:30


When you return from you walk or ride take pictures at our TapSnap photobooth, enjoy great food and music, VIP's (those that raised $500 or more) can enjoy the VIP tent with massage and more.
