Labrador Retriever Rescue of Florida (LRRoF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to placing purebred Labrador Retrievers in loving, permanent homes. We are comprised of hardworking volunteers and vets who are committed to placing labs in new homes. We have been working together since 2000 and have rescued over 5,000 dogs.
LRRoF provides foster care, veterinary care, to include spaying/neutering, vaccinations, treatment of injuries and illnesses and microchipping for the labs in our adoption program. Our goal is to place our Labradors in appropriate and permanent home settings. Prior to an adoption, we consider the history, temperament, personality and energy level of the rescued Labrador. The placement process includes a written application, a home visit to the potential adopter and vet check if they have current animals. We are committed to making a lifelong match for all our adopted Labradors, through the adoption process, education and continued assistance, after the adoption.
