The Mount Vernon terminus of the Kokosing Gap Trail is the most heavily used access point on the KGT. Trail users will no doubt appreciate a water fountain and bicycle repair Fixit station at this trail head.

The current bridge construction project occurring in this area has revealed a water line that can be utilized.

We are looking for funding for the following items:

1) Halsey Taylor drinking fountain that includes a dog fountain and the ability to fill water bottles.

2) Dero Fixit station to complete common bike repairs. (Dero Fixit stations are also in Gambier and Danville.)

3) Concrete pad and path for both features

As a non-profit and volunteer organization, the Kokosing Gap Trail relies on donations, as it has for 32 years, for all trail enhancement projects such as this one.
