EVENT: Pennsylvania Together Walk
EVENT DATE: May 20, 2017
Hello Friends and Fellow Pain Conquerors,
On Saturday, May 20th, I'm participating in the Pennslyvania Together Walk to make a difference for those affected by chronic pain diseases. This fundraising and awareness event directly funds pain research & supports the efforts of the National Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain Association and The Conquering Fibromyalgia Together Support Group. Learn more about this Pennslyvania event here:
At the above link you can join as an individual, join my team Conquering Fibro Together, create your own team or simply make a donation.
This event in Pennslyvania will take place at a historic park called, Saylor Kilns & Coplay Pavilion. It's a beautiful walking trail that is very accessible, dog-friendly, with convenient on-site facilities and a playground for the children. We are actively recruiting walkers, fundraisers, donors, volunteers and sponsors
You can make a difference!
Can't make it to Pennslyvania, but still want to participate? Check out the virtual Together Walk! No matter your ability, everyone can contribute to making fibromyalgia visable! Here is the link to the virtual Together Walk!
This cause means a great deal to me. More than 100 million American men, women and children have a chronic pain disease. That's 1 in 3 adults! 50% of all veterans, and 80% of veterans returning from Iraq and Afganistan. Who do you know who has been affected? What can we do to help? Through the generosity of people like you, I know we will suceed in making a difference.
This isn't just a fundraiser-it's also a "friendRaiser" whether you walk beside me or donate to the cause, we are all raising awareness, gaining friends who understand our struggles, advocating for better access to care and funding research into better treatments.
Thank you for making fibromyalgia visable and for your continuted support!
Together we make a difference!

P.P.S- Why should you support me? In the past year I have been very busy advocating for people with chronic pain diseases and for children/adolescents with special needs. I created The Conquering Fibromyalgia Together Support Group. We have three online support group pages and facilitate one in person support group meeting per month in our community. We utilize technology such as "zoom" or "skype" to include support group members in our meetings that may not be able to physically attend. In less than a year we have reached more than 500 people and have 182 support group members.
How can you show your support for my work on behalf of people with hronic pain & their families? Support me in the National Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain Association's Pennslyvania Together Walk.
