BENEFITING: National Kidney Foundation of Arizona
EVENT DATE: Feb 22, 2019
Kerrie was born in Chicago, raised in Scottsdale and settled in the Town of Paradise Valley. She graduated from Chaparral High School and attended Arizona State University as a Pre-Law/Justice Studies major. Growing up with a family headed by a real estate developer kindled her passion for land and deals and led Kerrie to a 20-year career in commercial real estate. Kerrie is the Assistant Vice President of Builder and Commercial Sales for Security Title Agency. She is happily married to her husband of 13 years and is the mother of two beautiful twin girls.
Kerrie is an avid workout warrior and completed her first Spartan race and second triathlon this year. In 2019 she will be competing in Ironman 70.3, and although training for a half Ironman is hard, she laughs at how much more difficult it is to dance.
National Kidney Foundation of Arizona has a special place in Kerrie’s heart as her daughter, Gabby, was diagnosed with Multicystic Kidney Disease while in utero. As a result, Gabby was born with only one kidney that took over the job of two; and although she is a thriving and healthy 10-year old girl, just like her twin, Josie, the experience gave Kerrie a unique perspective and appreciation for the work done by the Arizona Kidney Foundation. “There was no doubt I would say yes to this incredible organization to help spread the word about the vital role they play in people’s lives, not only for my family but for every other family fighting kidney disease.”
