In memory of Rocky.
Rocky was a special boy that spent many years at Five Acres; 7 years actually. He was adopted years before and brought back to us after some one of his family members was killed in a car accident. After he came back to Five Acres he became depressed and stopped eating leading to a feeding tube being required to keep him alive. Once Rocky began eating on his own again he then developed diabetes. He was eventually not dependent on insuline but he had to have bloodwork and tests done occasionally and also required a special diabetic diet. Rocky's vet visits were roughly $500 everytime he went in for a visit. We had intentions of raising funds for Rocky's prescription food and medical costs but unfortunately we recently found out he had terminal cancer and he crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on April 6th, 2017.
Rocky was so loved at Five Acres. He enjoyed our new kitty cottage, sleeping on the catio, snuggling up in his office and watching the ladies have lunch. One of Rocky's favorite things was ice water, which he enjoyed weekly. Please use this fundraising page to make a donation in memory of sweet Rocky. All donation raised through the Kennel Camp Out will help Rocky's other special needs pals.
