BENEFITING: AINSLEYSANGELS OF AMERICA
The Ainsley's Angels message of inclusion, 'together we shall', teamwork, and trust is so very important and needs to be spread far and wide. Being a busy mother of 4 small children, I cannot do all the charity work that I would love to do, but I made it my goal this year to try to do the most good I can, whenever I can. And giving my legs & time to this cause is something I can do. I first heard about Ainsley's Angels through Maggie from always seeing her run all kinds of races and distances pushing Bella and other Angel Riders. The happiness on their faces and hers was infectious. Then one of my dear friends (being labor support for someone while their husband is deployed kinda bonds you for life!) got involved with AA with her sweet son Gavin. I had seen Gavin go from walking and being able to play soccer to being wheelchair bound. When he is leading his Angel Runners over the finish line, you can see the pure joy at being included in a sport such as running. I am thrilled and beyond honored to be taking Maggie's place this year on Team Bella as she deploys. Please help me meet my goal to help Ainsley's Angels reach even more runners and spread the message of inclusion!
