Imagine yourself in an intimate setting with musicians right in front of you and music flowing through the air all around you, making you feel like you are part of it. This is the joy of chamber music -- a style of classical music created to be performed in a small setting and composed for a small group of musicians. Because of the size, chamber music brings the listeners closer to the music, making it a truly personal experience.

For 31 seasons, the Kansas City Chamber Orchestra has been creating these personal music experiences for diverse audiences throughout the Kansas City metro. With an annual concert series of four productions accompanied by an educational outreach program, we make classical music accessible for all ages. Each production is a carefully crafted musical conversation and each musician is an integral part of that conversation. But it takes more than incredible musicians to bring the music to life. The audience, volunteers, donors, season ticket holders, friends, businesses, students, staff, technicians are all equally important. Everyone has a part to play -- YOU have a part to play!
