Maryland Health Care For All The Maryland Health Care For All! Coalition is a coalition of over 750 faith, community, labor, business, and health care groups working to ensure quality, affordable health care for all Marylanders. We have led successful efforts to expand health care to hundreds of thousands of Marylanders and now we are working hard to fully implement the Affordable Care Act in Maryland. We are also working to ensure a new day for health care in Maryland where health care providers are working closely with local communities, including faith congregations, to keep people healthy and to help people live well with their illnesses.
350 Loudon 350 Loudoun, a local chapter of 350.org, is dedicated to building an awareness of human-induced climate change among the residents and businesses of Loudoun County. Through education, outreach, and civic action, 350 Loudoun aims to promote a sound understanding of human induced climate change and its impacts on our economy, national security, environment, public health, and local community. We also work with our elected officials to create a strong public policy response to climate change.
Green Neighbors DC Green Neighbors is an all-volunteer group of residents of the Petworth, Park View, Brightwood, and Columbia Heights neighborhoods in Washington, DC. Our goal is to lower our neighborhoods’ emissions of carbon and other pollutants that contribute to global warming and to make renewable energy and other sustainable resources more accessible to everyone in our community. We see ourselves as part of a larger District-wide, regional, national and international movement to preserve our climate and planet for future generations.
DC Sierra Club The Washington, DC Chapter comprises more than 3,600 members and supporters in Washington, DC and is actively involved in local conservation and elections through events and volunteer opportunities.
Community Forklift Community Forklift, a project of Sustainable Community Initiatives, is a nonprofit reuse center for home improvement supplies. We pick up donations of unwanted and salvaged building materials throughout the metro DC region. Then, we make the building materials available to the public at low cost, and provide vintage materials for restoring old homes. We also offer public education about reuse, and distribute free supplies to local nonprofits and neighbors in need.

Green Souls of All Souls Church Unitarian Church The Green Souls mission is to educate, inspire, and organize members of the church to lead more environmentally sustainable, just, and spirit-filled lives, individually and collectively. Working to decrease our internal environmental footprint and create a greener, healthier DC, the group successfully guided the church through the Green Sanctuary application and sponsors trash-free Sundays, fair-trade product sales, recycling of church bulletins and other paper, and children's programs.
