Help a Teacher to Teach Our Kids About Money!
The Jump$tart Coalition National Educator Conference is the only national conference for classroom teachers dedicated to personal finance education. Each year, the conference provides PreK-12 educators with financial education resources, personal and professional development, access to a nation-wide network of colleagues, and general support for financial education.
While Jump$tart and its partners generously underwrite a signficant portion of the event, teachers still incur costs. So, each teacher is raising money to cover their costs to attend -- including transportation and the $425 registration fee, which includes a two-night stay at the Gaylord National Resort and all conference meals.
Donations are NOT tax deductible. (See disclaimer below.) Funds that are raised are going directly to the teacher to cover the expenses to attend this popular professional development training.
Disclaimer: While Jumpstart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, each teacher is raising funds individually to cover their cost of registration fees and transportation. As such, donations are NOT tax deductible. Donors are making donations to the teacher and understand that they cannot deduct the contribution for tax purposes. Teachers agree to use the funds solely to participate in the 2015 Jumpstart National Educator Conference Nov. 6-8. Jumpstart assumes no liability for this campaign, including, but not limited to, for any taxes imposed or if funds are used for purposes other than the Conference.
