I need your help, please click on the donate button and give anything you can to provide safe water to the victims of the Nepal Earthquake. Please read everything below, to learn more about me and my mission.
My name is Jordan Romero and I hold the record for being the youngest climber to summit Nepal’s Mt. Everest at age 13. This month is the 5th anniversary of my climb. In response to the need due to the earthquake in Nepal, I’m using my anniversary to bring safe water to the people of Nepal. When you are climbing at high altitudes you become aware of the most basic needs like oxygen, calories, and hydration. Safe water is a basic need at any altitude. Nothing else matters without it. It can be the difference between life and death.
I chose Water Missions because they are an international organization with a track record of successfully delivering safe water solutions that address immediate and ongoing needs. The water treatment solutions they install are sustainable, which means they are making it possible for people to have safe water for the rest of their lives. .
$100,000 will serve at least 20,000 people per day. The best part is that an anonymous donor has agreed to match dollar for dollar. That’s $200,000 and at least 40,000 people per day with safe water where it is desperately needed right now. If I reach my goal I’m committing to go back to Nepal and show you the impact we made together.
Please check out my video and help me reach my goal. Then share it with a friend. I can’t reach this summit without you. -Jordan #JordanforNepal
