THE STORY:
NEW GOAL as of April 10, $26,200.00!!! Click here to see why!
On Friday, March 18 I made a commitment to run the 120th Boston Marathon for the Joe Andruzzi Foundation in honor of individuals who are diagnosed with cancer and have no choice but to begin treatment immediately. I am taking this 30-day challenge head on, and every stride I take will be for individuals who receive the diagnosis of cancer and do not get the option of training for treatment (and believe me, the aggressiveness of some treatments require patients to be in the best physical health and shape possible).
I watched a healthy individual deteriorate within two-weeks of beginning treatment; yes, I am talking about the love of my life. By the grace of god, Joe won his fight against cancer, but there are so many that do not.
My fundraising goal has meaning behind it – please help me reach it! $18,200.00 represents 26 cancer patients and families receiving a JAF Financial Assistant Grant, which I intend to hand deliver.
READY. SET. DONATE!!!
Thank you in advance for supporting me – and JAF cancer patients!!
With love,
Jen
