BENEFITING: Adaptive Sports Center of Crested Butte, Inc.
The Grand Traverse is a 40 mile ski race that starts at midnight on March 25, 2016, where 2-person teams traverse the Elk Mountain Range by skiing from Crested Butte Mountain Resort to Aspen gaining over 7,800 feet of elevation. Typical finish times are anywhere from 8 to 16 hours. Becca and Jess will be attempting the grand adventure and are busy training and gathering gear for race day. As we begin to prepare for the suffer fest, we thought what better way to rally our friends and families support than by raising funds for the Adaptive Sports Center. The Adaptive Sports Center enhances the quality of life of people with disabilities through exceptional outdoor adventure activities. The successful programs the ASC provides are inclusive to families and friends, empower our participants in their daily lives and have a positive enduring effect on self-efficacy, health, independence and overall well-being. Please considering supporting us by donating to the ASC!
