J4tNG is a coalition of millennial leaders organizing and advocating against racial inequality in America. The work was birthed by the community outreach efforts of the Citadel Church in Greensboro, NC and led by the Rev. Gregory Drumwright. Since 2012, during its Fall Summit for Student Leadership, the Citadel's coalition of justice has been on the front lines advocating for racial equity, economic equality, an end to police brutality and white supremacy for people of color; especially America's youth and young adults. In 2015, Rev. Drumwright and his choir led the "first night of peace" in Charlotte, NC after riots had erupted in the city, which was highlighted by international media. In 2016, the Citadel hosted "Let Us Speak" in the Greensboro Coliseum Special Events Center before a standing room crowd to address police brutality and economic equality with police chiefs, elected officials and business leaders. Rev. Drumwright has since led demonstrations calling for change in the Southern Baptist Church, voter rights marches, justice marches and hosted town halls beyond NC. Gregory Drumwright is one of America’s most promising rising public theologians and social justice organizers of this new decade. His work has been seen on CNN, ABC, FOX, NBC and numerous media outlets nationally and around the world. Since June 2020, J4tNG has travelled more than 6,000 miles to the front lines of the movement for justice. After many calls for our organizing efforts and impact, we are accepting of the need for our work to be fully funded for one year. Reaching our goal will allow us to continue our work toward social justice and racial reconciliation. J4tNG is a subsidary organization under the umbrella of the Citadel Church Inc, Greensboro, NC, a 501-c3 faith-based non profit organization in right-standing with the State of NC and the Federal Government.
