Irene's Journey Through Motherhood
Organized by: Irene Zendano
Last year I was mentally prepared to try invitro for the second time in my life. Just as we were about to start the process the unexpected happened. I had just finished getting my hair done and was getting ready for work when out of nowhere I felt this sharp pain and couldn't move. I tried to hide it from my husband but he knew something was wrong. Six hours later in the emergency room we learned that I was in the early stage of pregnancy but was in the process of having a miscarriage. When it was time to try again so many things happened, my husband had surgery and my mother whom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's became sick with diverticulitis and passed a month later. On February 24th, 2015 my world crashed and came to a screeching halt. With my finances spinning out of control I became sick from the stress and my doctor discovered a growth that needed to be removed asap. During recovery my doctor advised that I have a 2-3 month window with an 80% successful chance to have a baby with invitro fertilization. I am putting my feelings out there for the universe to help me get what I have always dreamed of and that's a chance to be a mother.
