The 2nd annual Relay for Heroes will be held on September 9th and 10th at the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space museum in New York City. The 24 hour relay race features 4 and 8 person teams competing to cover the most distance running around Manhattan's Westside Greenway. All funds will go directly to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, a 501(c)(3) national non-profit organization that is leading the fight for troops suffering the effects of traumatic brain injury (TBI), a devastating condition that afflicts hundreds of thousands of military personnel and can severely impact their ability to live normal lives. The IFHF has a record of accomplishments, having provided close to $200 million in support for service members and their families since 2000.
