The place

We are missionaries in Papua New Guinea. Among many other apostolates, we are working in a place called Telefomim, literally in the jungle.

The challenges we face daily

We face many problems daily, like lack of schools, poverty, witchcraft, abortion, illiteracy and the same environment, which is very difficult. Due to this people here have almost no access to any kind of health care, because this a remote and forgoten place, and so nobody helps us.

Our project. Our dream

We are building a new clinic and a new church, because the actual ones are really unworthy, as you can see from the pictures. It’s important to know that we receive no help from the government, and so we rely only in your help.

Problems we would like to solve

By providing a reasonable church building with a conducive spiritual environment we hope to: - Consolidate our effort of evangelization in the area - Created an environment where people can feel the atmosphere of awe, love and mercy of god in their midst in the sacraments, the holy mass, prayer and worship. - Provide an avenue for recollections / retreat and other Spiritual exercise to address issues of concern that eroding the health of the community physically, spiritually and mentally. - In-service youths on community living - Run workshops on issues of concerns that is detrimental to the community ;by having a reasonable church to preach on these issues of concern we hope to reduce: 1. Drug consumption; 2. Inces; 3. Abortion; 4. Polygamy; 5. Teen age pregnancy.

Estimated budget

The estimated budget is USD 20,000. That is all the money we need. But of course we feel very ashamed to ask for the whole amount, and so we only ask for half of the amount.
